The target one did not take but the rest did. Looking to get them all out and in the ground in the next week. Nice one for the hops rhizomes Taf and John.

Thanks Blunt, If you do hit rock it may be worth getting a core drill (45mm), drill about 70mm, break it out with a crow bar or chisel, drill again and keep going as much as you can, no concrete needed. That or hire an electric kango.
show us a pic of your work when done.

Ok all i got today was Rock Rock and more Rock so no digging a hole 18-24" deep and adding some concrete.
Did something like you said Ale Man but did not get a core bit just a big masonry drill bit 55mm, that's the closest i could get. Got it 22" down took 30mins, filled it in with cement and sand and then covered the top with Concrete.
Will post more pic when the raised bed is in.
Also every one who saw the pole Ale Man were shocked that it only cost 80 euro nice one. And thanks Steven for all the help today.

That time of year again, give the little lads a challenge to climb 20', same price as last year €80 but I can now deliver for a tenner. Now in 8 bine format.
