A couple of the wheat beers use the champagne comparison. I think because they're bottle fermented.

It was Napoleon's troops that christened Berliner Weiss “The Champagne of the North”, so I think the bloody upstart hefe breweries can step back from the title and leave it in Berlin, where it belongs.

I've used the 'champagne of beers' line more than once to sell wheat beers to some of my conservative beer drinking friends. They seem more willing to try them when described in this way.
