SAFE CARE® Line Cleaner 100% Safe and Non Corossive 14 years 5 months ago #1

SAFE CARE® Line Cleaner / Heavy Duty Line Cleaner

SC-Line Cleaner is the first 100% plant based product that safely and effectively removes yeast and other build up in pipelines.

Standard line cleaners are corrosive and therefore capable of causing chemical burns to users and of damaging the internal parts of lines, pumps and seals. Used correctly, corrosive line cleaner will maintain hygienic pipes; however problems will occur if people conducting the cleaning are not trained in the correct procedures and / or do not wear suitable personal protective equipment (PPE).

SC-Line Cleaner is non-corrosive, non-toxic and non-reactive. The standard version is suitable for everyday use. The heavy duty version will remove ingrained deposits that have built up over a long time.

Do you dilute it to use it?

To use in beer lines:
Pour 500ml into 11 gallon cleaning barrel, fill cleaning barrel with hot water, pull through pipes and leave to soak for 30 minutes. Pull Beer Line Cleaner through until cleaning barrel is empty, fill cleaning barrel with clean water and pull through to rinse.

If you want to use smaller quantities you just dilute to the ratio of 1:100 with Hot water,

Can it be used to sterilize and clean homebrew fermenters and bottles? We would love to find a plant based alternative to VWP (chlorine based).

Hi,

I have spoken to our expert on this product and he has told me that our cleaner should do a better job in cleaning than your VWP Cleaner, Line cleaner will remove all trace of dirt and any residue from your apparatus, However in order to sterilize your bottles you would need to use sterile water to rinse either cleaners, if your rinse water is just normal tap water then you bottles will only be as sterile as this water after using either products,
I suggest that i send you a sample of our line cleaner for you to Trial and report back to the others of this forum,
Please Pm me with your address etc and i will send out a sample asap,
Frank,
