Lads, there is a small fly in the ointment. I had assumed that I could post packs of hops for a nominal cost but an Post, in their wisdom, charge €6 for a packet between 500g and 1kg. (500g of hops+packing is probably 600g). That's a big addition to a tenners worth of hops. Under 500g is €4 postage.
3 possible answers occur to me;
make the whole pack under 500g and pay €4
or, make the whole pack up to just under a kilo and pay the €6
or, find a cheaper way of delivery.
Sending a kilo probably makes more sense. I live in Bray co wicklow if anyone felt like collecting.

Id be able to collect. Id be interested in east kent goldings,cascade and a few others to be honest. When are you going to have the hops here in Ireland?

I need to have a few definate takers before I commit to this crazy scheme but I hope to order stuff within a few weeks.New hops from New zealand are on the way. It might be worth grabbing some while the're fresh.
Is anyone happy to pay for the postage as well? It takes a lot of the good out of it unless you're taking a kilo or more. €26 for a kilo delivered would still be good value.
