You may have heard we have closed the shop but don’t worry the rumours of our demise have been greatly exaggerated we are not out of business. We were doing more business online than we did in the shop so it makes sense also because we are saving on the rent and all the extras we will be able to expand the range a lot more than we have managed before now.


But here is the good bit to celebrate the new business plans we are offering a 5% discount to everyone all you have to do is type “beoir” into the apply vouchers code.

As for the discount and free shipping. If I remember rightly you use Zencart which does not allow this out of the box. Ajeh (one of the core developers) recently rewrote the discount coupon functionality- you can find the new version here:

So far so good. If there is anything you would like to see us stocking or doing differently please let me know as i now have a lot more free time to focus on improving the business and the customer service now.

Actually we are using a system called magento now.

Ah, that explains why your store has slowed down soooooooo much. Magento looks good but its database optimisation and caching is non-existent.

do you find the website slow to navigate?
if so that is one thing i will have to look into
