TOPIC:

Chris, one of the quieter Beoir members, brought this back from San Francisco last week.

Bottled on Feb 24 - this matters if you know the buzz (hype?) around this beer, which reputedly starts losing its hops after only a month. (Warnings not to age it are all over the label.)

Having drank the other bottle, I can say it's got some impressively layered hop flavours with out being crushingly bitter.

Now if I could just get to try Pliny the Younger.... When is that? November?

I don't mind drinking it myself, don't get me wrong. Just surprised...

It's an awesome, awesome beer; I'm a huge fan but I just had one 2 months ago when Rueben and Hillary got back from California, so I'm holding out for something different.
