I've got 2 hens. One workaholic Rhode Island Red who mananges to produce an egg daily. And one lazy-as-fuck Wellsummer who is currently on her 13th week of moult and is looking like a likely candidate for Christmas dinner. I'd love to get a few more but since I moved house the garden is a lot smaller and can only sustain 2 chickens. And given how close the neighbours are- No roosters.
