New Limited Edition Yeasts Available 15 years 6 months ago #1

I have just got hold of our latest wyeast order. This time round I have added some activator packs to the order. These are both from their private collection and are only on very limited release. The two I have are:

Wyeast 1026-PC British Cask Ale Yeast

and

Wyeast 1469-PC West Yorkshire Ale Yeast (Rumored to be the strain used in Landlord)

I also have got in California Lager 2112 in the propagator for those of you who want to make a lager but can't get the temp down low. Ferments 14-20 C.

Got a new look website also:

Like the new website, very snazzy. <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) -->
I was on there the other day and thought I had gone to the wrong site until I checked the contacts section.

Nice facelift to the site.

Tempted by the Yorkshire yeast for a bitter next weekend. Not much extra cost in using liquid yeast these days since US05 prices went up.

Any plans to stock uncrushed grain ?

It has gone up a bit and there is a whole world of difference between the flavours of the two.

Also here is a handy method for harvest yeast liquid for future batches so as to bring the price down a bit.
