Fridge for sale on eBay 15 years 8 months ago #1

Just spotted this on eBay for anyone who's looking to build a kegarator. I'm not an expert on kegarators but this looks like it would work.

I think for a kegerator, it is better if there is no freezer section, , but I could be wrong.

Don't think that'd work, the weight of 2 full cornies in the top section, even if they fit, would probably be too heavy for the fridge floor. Then there's the problem of lifting 20+kg cornies up into the fridge section.

I was just the other day looking at a youtube video of a fella with an electric winch set up for lifting kegs into his chest freezer kegerator. Aldi/lidl were selling winches not so long ago for 80 i think. dont think they were electric.
ya could stick some support in the bottom to stop ur kegs goin through the floor.

Been a few fridges on <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="www.freetradeireland.ie">www.freetradeireland.ie recently.

Ya wasn't too sure if it would work.

I think if I was to put one together I would get one of the small fridges and have the taps coming out of the top istead of the door (If the kegs would fit).

I just got funding approval for a fermentation fridge. I hope to find one within a week (and get my ATC-800 hooked up and start an Oktoberfest ASAP).

Will most fridges be able to lager down to 1 degree, or will I need a freezer to hit those temps?

-Actually I'm opening a new thread on this..
