Just in from Tesco in Clarehall and they have 24L cooler boxes going for 16 yoyos if anyone is interested in a bit of mashtun making.

good stuff - ill be needing one - is that a good size for a mash tun?

I dont think it would handle an all grain batch but im sure it would be well big enough for a partial or mini mash.

dont hold me to that though. i have not made a mash tun yet so someone else on here would be able to advise you better on this.

I made mine from a 27L one.
Only been used once, with a 6L grain bill for a 23L brew and it was plenty big.
I would Idealy like a bigger one, but it was a cool box I had.
Still I reckon it'll serve me well enough.
That's not super cheap though!
