The market in the UK is quite different to here and even at that i can assure you that bulk buys are not permitted on all the uk forums Like you say though, everybody is free to make their own choice. I just felt the need to point out that there is consequences in a small market like Ireland to practices like this.

'practices', you'd swear that lads were hiring child labour to brew their beers for them. We all buy stuff based on price, do you buys books on amazon or from easons?

Especially in the current climate I will buy any product from anywhere on the planet if it means good value.

The discussion concerning the normative status of bulk buying, and whether it is detrimental to local shops and whether that imposes some moral duty on us is off topic, so I have started a new thread here[/url:33wyizd8] if anyone is interested in continuing the argument.

Would it be possible to keep this thread just for the purpose of me finding out if anyone else is interested in this order so that I can make it ASAP?

BTW snuff, I got an answer from Bairds, they say 2-3 days once it is sent, and they'll send once the money is in their account. So I would imagine we will order early next week and have it delivered thursday or so.

If you do it again Richie I'd be in for a sack, problem is I've used up my homebrew budget for this month and just bought a sack of Pilsener, so good luck with it.

The month's budget gone in the first week? Sounds familiar I wouldn't imagine we'll need to do this for another 9 months or a year at least, but you never know we could go pro in the meantime
