I just heard at the Lunch table in work that a new Brick and Mortar Homebrew supply shop has opened in Athlone near AIT .

Anyone have any further light to shed on this rumor ?

Hmmmm well he doesn't seem to know a lot about brewing, at a glance the shop is very expensive, 25L fermenter was over €20. He has no grain, hops, decent yeast or fermenters over 25L. He is selling household sugar! I wish him all the best but i think unless the students go mad making cheap kits he's already done for. Shame really cause i was quite excited about having a HBS on my doorstep <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->
