Russell told me he has a supply of one litre swingtops which he has had for some itme which he will sell at cost price - I think he said ten euros for a box of six. Not sure. He said he would he happy to sell them on the day of the Expo if anyone is interested. Definitely not easter week-end!!!!

One could also phone the well and leave a messsage for him if you are interested.

i think i'll try nd get me some of these, need swing tops but usually don't like the type of beer i have to drink to get them

Sorry for hijacking the post, but I've noticed swing top bottles for sale at a decent price on hopandgrape! Are they any use?
I transfer my beer to cornies, but am wondering is it worth getting swing tops bottles for the 3 litres or so that are let over(I reckon it would be easier that collecting bottles and using a capper(I heard these can be a nightmare to use!!)
Are swing top bottles as good as capping?

I use 500ml swingtops for precisely that purpose and I find them every bit as good as crown capped bottles, but less hassle to cap.

In my opinion any bottle over the pint size is a waste, i like my beer fresh out of the bottle and the trouble with L bottles is that it's nearly 2 pints so one pint is sitting in a glass while i drink the other.
