So how does this system work?[/b:2evnb7wp]

Mashing

The Bulldog Brewer comes with advanced automatic time and temperature control. Simply set your mashing temperature and rest time on the display, then let the Brewer to sort out the mashing for the set time while the pump slowly circulates the wort. It will turn itself off after the rest time, so no problem if you happen to forget it.
Lautering

After mashing, it is time for lautering (draining the malt bed).Just lift up the inner malt basket (the inner bucket with straining bottom) and fix it in the top position on the Brewer and let the wort drain into the body of the Brewer.
Sparging

Pre-heat enough water (according to your recipe) to rinse out the last goodies from the malt, by slowly pouring it over the malt bed, still with malt pipe in top position. Or buy the Bulldog Sparger (arriving soon) which does the pre-heating for you. The Bulldog Sparger uses the removable pump from the Brewer so you don't need to place it higher than the Brewer.
Boiling

Clean out the malt basket from the used malt, put it back and add hops. Set time and boil. Simple as that! It isn't absolutely necessary to put the basket back in, but very practical if you get debris from the hops during boiling. You can of course use a boiling bag instead but that can often make it necessary to increase the amount of hops. Get ‘er Brewed all grain kits come complete with hop tea bag technology so if your brewing with one of our kits you won’t have to worry about hop blockages.
Cooling

Finally, connect up the spiral wort chiller to your cold water tap to rapidly cool your wort down to fermentation temperature, transfer to fermenter, pitch the yeast and that is it!

We personally haven't used one of these yet but will soon and let you know our feedback;
