We have decided to give away our BH Light LME Liquid Malt Extract 1.5 Kg Cans for close to cost at Euro 4.95 per can, or even less in bulk (2, 6 or 16 cans). And only Euro 4.45 in beer kit bundles (Coopers are live, we are working on the rest).
For example, our Tooheys Lager 3.2 Kg Ingredient Pack is now just €14.45 in the bargain bucket:

which really ain't bad for a kit containing 3.2 Kg of malt extract.
We are doing this for 2 reasons:
- we know this is top quality malt extract so we want every kit and extract brewer in Ireland to start using it instead of sugar or other fermentables, and
- we can only guarantee this kind of pricing long term if we can get the volume up.
We figure that once people use this LME, they will continue to do so, especially if we can keep the pricing low so that it is affordable for everyone.
A side effect is that the Brupaks Craftsman Extract Kits are now ridiculously cheap at €14.95 (including 3 Kg LME):
