Wouldn't it be great to have an equivalent guide[/url:2pt0f7n2] for breweries and brewpubs? Maybe this is something Beoir could push for.

Ha! Funny I was just about to post this. I love the way it says if your product is alcoholic, you must also put the ABV on it, neglecting to say you needn't bother with the ingredients because [i:11g2gdfw]they're none of the drinkers' business[/i:11g2gdfw].

Do you think there'd be any surprises for the public if macros put their ingredients on the packaging ? Preservatives ? Colouring ? Flavour enhancers ?

I'd be willing to bet the recipes would be changed and perfectly calibrated by market research to have the least possible impact on sales while retaining the the maximum level of profitability. That would be after extensive lobbying to create lots of short-cuts and exceptions in the legislation as it makes its way to the Statute Book.
