Well, the whole idea of this sticky is to tell people how to embed thumbnails in posts, not large images themselves, as large images aren't good for users on slow or mobile connections.

As it happens, Imgur does provide that ability, although it does clip the thumbnail (the large thumbnail option is pretty large!).

Simply upload the image
Once uploaded, click on the "Small Square" link beside the small image on the left.
The code boxes will change
Copy and paste the code provided in the "Linked Small Square for Message Boards" textbox.

Sorry I am used to dealing with very large images and that thumbnail was small from my point of view.

I might just poop in and say that IMGUR is still quite new and as such has yet to be added to the banlist in most workplaces.

Arrgh. I just posted a thread with a picture in it and only afterwards saw this thread. It's a small one, but I'm not very tech savvy and am having trouble finding the 'webforum' option for it - sorry.
