Again you learn something new every day, did not know that dropping the e made it Scotch.


They still brew the wort (and use the term) before they distil - it is called wash not beer!!

I do work for the aforementioned distillery but have never paid much attention to the product as I have little interest in whiskey.

They do indeed - my favourite part of my visit to Kilbeggan was checking out the mash tun!
