Ticket holders will have the joy 5 beers(full beers - no small tasters here) all for only €20

There is a great range of styles to choose from.

Pills
ESTAMINET Pils 5.2%
In 2011, 796 beers were entered for the Brewing Industry International Awards 2011, which were held in England. This gold medal, which is seen as an ‘Oscar’ within the beer world, is an important recognition and victory for PALM Breweries. The awards and medals will be presented during a gala event on 12 April at the prestigious Guildhall in London. ESTAMINET owes its premium quality (5.2% vol/alc) to the selection of the best natural ingredients: soft water, 100% high quality summer barley, a distinctive yeast and very precious Saaz hops.

Blonde Ale
Bourgogne de Flandres Blonde 6%
Blonde ales are more unusual for the Flanders style – so Bourgogne de Flandres Blonde is an example of how eccentricity is an essential element of Belgian beer. Golden in colour, with distinct cloudiness from the residual yeast, Bourgogne de Flandres Blonde has aromas of mild phenols, some spice, and smooth yeastiness. The taste is surprisingly restrained (given the style), with malt and grain pre-dominating, and combining with a white pepper finish. A more accessible example of the Flanders style – an excellent point to start an adventure of this range of beers.

Dark Ale
Bourgogne de Flandres Bruin 5.0%
Dark – almost black in colour out of the light, but rich ruby red in appearance. Dark fruits, berries and cherries combine with brown sugar and malty character in the flavours in this beer. Wood and caramel are in evidence. Acidity, fruitiness and sherry wine are all there. Great complexity – giving delicious layers of flavour in this classic example of the oud bruin style.

STRONG GOLDEN ALE
Gouden Carolus Hopsinjoor 8%
Wickedly hoppy - Cinnamon and clove spicy hop character rest on a base of honey sweetness. Fruit, cane sugar, herbal hop character – lemongrass, with secondary character of citrus and coriander – all in the aroma. They follow through in the flavour, and furthermore, black peppercorn, and yeasty breadiness further develop on the palate when tasting this beer. Multi-layered, complex, incredibly tasty – perfect beer for lovers of hoppy brews.

Omer 8.0%
Brewed by Brouwerij Bockor, Omer has been described as ‘one of the best beers to come out of Belgium in the last few decades.’ Richly complex, and particularly drinkable.
Notes of grain, lemon, white pepper, honey, fruit (grapes, pear, kiwi, green apple), biscuits, grass and herbs combine with a punch of alcohol. Omer finishes with a slightly dry character – a touch of grape and pear. Wonderfully interesting and tasty.

Delirium Tremens 8.0%
Over two decades ago, the deLaet family decided to brew a strong Belgian golden ale, bottled it with a blue label that had pink elephants dancing on it, and named the beer ‘Delirium Tremens’. One thing was for sure – either they had lost their marbles, or their genius was beyond the comprehension of normal people.
Given the taste of the superb beer that they have brewed, and its popularity with beer lovers world-wide, it would appear that the latter was the case. Juicy white fruits (banana, apple, pear), mild hop bitterness, subtle yeasty / bready tang, orange cloves, bubblegum – an array of flavours combine in this superb beer.

Satan 8.0%
Toasty champagne notes greet the nose in the aroma of this delicious beer. Yeast character dries the palate slightly, leaving a subtle roasted nut flavour. Hops and grass, malt and wheat, red apples, banana, citrus, coriander and clove – all of these flavours are evident. However, the superb champagne-like toasty aroma is most evident as one tastes layer after layer in this complex beer. Who says Satan is always bad? – this beer is one definite example of when Satan is particularly good.

Strong Blonde Ale

Steenbrugge Blonde 6.5%
Mild honey sweetness greets the nose, blending with mild spice aromas. Using gruut instead of hops accentuates the sweetness of this beer. However, the spice blend provides a delicious alternate counterbalance to the notes of caramel malt, banana and yeast.

Mixed Fermentation Ale
Rodenbach

The Flanders region is famous for its distinctive red-brown ales, brewed with mixed fermentation techniques (yeast and lactic flora are responsible for the fermentation), and aged in oak casks to give distinct fruit character to the beer. Our range of Flanders-style ales include Rodenbach – probably the most famous beers in this style – and the delicious Bourgogne de Flandres range (including a bruin and blonde) brewed by Anthony Martin Brewing Company, the brewers behind Timmermans lambic beers.

Rodenbach Grand Cru 6.0%
Simply an incredibly beer. Sour berries and oak vanilla are the pre-dominant notes on the nose. Tart berries, sweet and sour fruit flavours, oak, vanilla, a touch of brown sugar, cherry, acidity (acetic) – just an incredible amount of complexity is present in this beer.

The finish is reminiscent of a red wine - surprisingly, despite all of the fruitiness in this beer, the finish is quite dry. Rodenbach Grand Cru has been voted Best Ale in the World at the World Beer Awards – no surprise – and has been called ‘the Burgundy of beers’ by beer writer Michael Jackson.

Strong Red / Brown Ale
Satan Red 8.0%
DeBlock’s signature mascot is seeking to lead the beer-drinking public astray again with this delicious red ale. Slightly sweet, with notes of caramel, port wine, dark fruit, grapes, combining with spicy cinnamon and coriander, with just the right touch of hops to balance out. But, at this strength, it is important to remember that the greatest trick that Satan ever pulled was convincing the world that he did not exist! Enjoy with respect!

Steenbrugge Bruin 6.5%
With aromas of caramel malt, candi sugar and spices, Steenbrugge Bruin is a Brown Abbey Ale. Brown sugar, dried dark fruits, and hints of molasses, chocolate, caramel and ginger combine in a subtle way in this complex beer. If you are looking for a subtly complex, yet easier to drink dark Belgian Ale, Steenbrugge Bruin is a perfect choice.

Strong Dark Ale
Gouden Carolus Classic 8.5%
Dark fruits, brown sugar, and a tingling mouthfeel deriving from a combination of the carbonation in the beer and the distinctive dark liquorice foundation in the taste of this beer all fuse to give a deliciously complex taste experience. Furthermore, these flavours blend with a complex mix of rich chocolate, spicy / oaky wood and an earthy, single malt whiskey / peaty character. Yet given all of this, the finish in this beer is simply delectable.
Delirium Nocturnum 8.5%
The pink elephant has a dark side!! Delirium Nocturnum is a strong red-brown Dark Belgian Ale, that pours with remarkable tan lacing. Rich and fruity, with candy sugar, toffee, green apple tartness, dark fruit, a hint of chocolate, sweet candied fruits, molasses – all with an underlying earthiness. A truly delicious dark ale from de Huyghe.

Lambic beers
Lambic beers are incredibly distinctive, and rooted in history. They are fermented by spontaneous fermentation – natural wild yeasts enter the sweetened wort from the atmosphere, and fermentation takes place in nature’s own time. They are then aged in oak - for up to three years – and blended to give different lambic styles. Sour flavours are predominant – though these beers are just so incredibly (and deliciously) complex. Timmermans is one of a small number of authentic lambic brewers, leading the reinvigoration of this style by brewing a range of lambic style beers in Brussels. Their range of lambic beers and lambic fruit beers are second to none.

Tmmermans Tradition Faro 6.0%
Timmermans Tradition Faro is lambic that has been sweetened with cane sugar and candi sugar. Aromas of grain, apple and sour apple are in evidence. The taste is sweet and sour – but complex. Lambic sourness is balanced by cane / candy sugar sweetness. Pear drops, sour green apple, fresh pressed apple juice, citrus lemon, sour cola cube sweets and smooth champagne vanilla notes are all present. There is a complete absence of bitterness in the beer – it is replaced by sourness, making this beer quite distinct from other beers.

Timmermans Tradition Lambicus Blanche 6%
Timmermans Tradition Lambicus Blanche is a blending of two distinct styles – witbier and lambic. Lemon acidity is evident on the nose. Berry yoghurt, orange, yeast, cloves, gooseberry, orange and coriander are all present behind the distinct sourness of the beer.

Fruit Lambaic
The introduction of fruit as an ingredient to further develop interesting styles of lambic beers is a tradition that is as old as the style, and which has given an artist’s palate to lambic brewers, enabling them to brew beers with distinctly fruity character built on the essentially sour base of the lambic beer base. Whether it is a traditional kriek (cherry lambic beer) or framboise (raspberry lambic beer), or the more recently developed variants of strawberry or peach lambic, one is guaranteed that the fruit flavour will not disappoint, and the lambic base provides a superb depth of complexity.

Timmermans Framboise 4.0%
The refreshing acidity of raspberries works as the perfect fruit addition to a lambic base in Timmermans Framboise. Crisp acidity, and delicious raspberry from the natural raspberries used in brewing this beer.

Timmermans Peche 4.0%
Peach provides a superbly soft fruit base for the flavour of this fruit lambic. Not surprisingly, peach flavours are clearly evident in Timmermans Peche. However, these fruit flavours can morph, with the sour lambic base into apricot and notes of white grapes. Residual sugar gives texture on the palate, and the sour lambic base simultaneously acts as a sorbet cleansing the palate. Most unusual, but deliciously sweet.

Fruit Beer
Delirium Tremens Red, 8.5%

Delirium Red has a soft fruity aroma with hints of almond and mildly sour cherries. The flavour is sweet and fruity, with a nice balance between sweet and sour, which makes this a perfect dessert beer

Thank you!
