The Deveney's festival this year is on September 15th, from 2.30pm to 10pm. Moved from The Pod to Pembroke District Dundrum, which is just down behind the shop.

Tickets are €20, on sale 1 August.

Not a clue. I haven't been to any of these since the first one in the Bull & Castle.

Last year you got a heavy but small tankard glass of around a quarter of a litre in size, and two 150ml (yes, 150ml!) shots of beer, which is ok except for when it's bottle conditioned beer.

It was probably the worst value beer event I was ever at, but it was still very full, which I put down to the "POD effect", i.e. a lot of people were going to be seen.

I'll give it a miss this year I think!

Looks like Lughnasa has changed format. Saturday 15th September at the Pembroke District, Dundrum Shopping Centre.
