Brian's Full Nelson was my favourite as well. Fantastic amount of different flavours in it from only one hop.

Wasn't a massive fan of the secret IPA, thought there was maybe too much of a dry aniseed flavour to it.

Not sure I would agree with this, for my money I think there will always be space for something that is better than what has gone before. I find alot of the current breed of Irish Ales are pretty forgettable, the more new stuff coming through the better. If nothing else it will push the guys currently in position to innovate and push boundaries

I myself am a Galway Hooker fan and enjoy this beer as a session beer. The Secret pale is a pale that is testing different hop choices.

I didn't notice anything particularly distinctive about the hop flavours, but then it was a fairly hoppy evening.

Beers like Thornbridge Kipling show there's always room for innovation in the hoppy pale ale category, but yeah we're probably good for session strength, Cascade hopped, pale ales
