Craft Beer Day Trips 14 years 2 months ago #1

Since it'll be a few months yet until the 3rd annual Camping trip, I was looking in the directory for possible Craft Beer Day trips to keep me going. The idea would be to visit some point of interest, easy accessible from Dublin. Maybe a short hike, then finish the day in a pub selling some craft beer. Ideas I have so far include:

DART to Greystones, walk along the coast to Bray then a drink in The Porterhouse.

DART to Howth, follow the old tram line to the summit, wander around the cliffs, back through the village (stopping for ice cream at Mauds), then a pint of Galway Hooker in the Bloody Stream.

Diesel to Skerries, wander down to the beach then a pint in The Blue Bar.

Any other suggestions?

As all three are easy options from Malahide - sounds great

Not sure about ALL that walking though <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":?" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? -->

This is completely different from then! In the way that it is exactly the same.

Incidentally, the RPSI are running steam engines again from March!
