This popped up in my Twitter feed a few weeks ago. A new beer festival in Munich, organised by a crowd that run a very successful annual whisky event, and inspired by the Great American Beer Festival and the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival.

The site is still being constructed, so there's shag all details, but (at the time of writing) they do have an early list of breweries (most of which are German admittedly, but some I recognise as being brewers of some really fine beers).

I'll try to get more info on the German breweries present so far.

And maybe I'll ask how a brewery can get a stand, just in case some of the Irish micros would like to go <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s;) -->
