What happens if/when method of dispense matters?

Porterhouse HopHead kicked ash on cask, but bottle or tap wouldn't come close. Ditto Metalman PA on cask; a whole different beer.

Mention that in voting or is this splitting hairs?

You make your own decision. Consider the vote an average: was the good version of the beer so good that, even taking into consideration the less-good version, it outweighs your enjoyment of another beer you liked? If so, rank it higher.

Statements on dispense are not taken into account in voting, nor on the winners' citations.

Man Hophead definitely went way up in my estimation from the couple of cask pints I had of it in Against the Grain, superb.

As far as I know the vote is dispense neutral, so you'll just have to weigh up your feelings about the beer.

yep, I think there is a massive difference between hop head draft vs the bottle.
For me Howling gale is the opposite, far nicer out of the bottle than on draft.

Can we keep the discussion of individual beers out of this thread?

Hey John, my mail got rejected by the spam filter on the Beoir server for some reason, any chance I can do it by PM?
