Billy was snapping in the brewery anyway -- I'd say he has enough to build an exact replica.

Good to put faces to the names, and a good night was had by all I think. Have a severe dose of the Van Halens today.

We wandered up to the Abbot Ale House when the Well got a bit crowded. It's now my new favourite pub, and Cork is my new favourite place <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Also loved porterhouse celebration.

One beer that Andrew had tasted like blue cheese. What one was that?[/quote:9o6joyj2]

Actually, I think I prefered the Howling Gale over the Emerald...

The blue cheese beer was WG's Red Oak (described as a red ale in the programme but as a stout on the pump clip). It had an after-note that reminded me of Laphroaig single malt.

Now I'm really confused!

Should be easy to tell difference between a Red ale and a stout!

Laphroaig certainly does not taste of blue cheese ( blue cheese = lactic acid + penecilium type moulds and flavours )

Please explain?

Proper Lennoxs (on Barrack Street) or fake Lennoxs (the rest?)

I always get stage fright in there when they shout at you for your order!!!

Popped in for a quick two Friday, Dark Arts and the Dungaravan Coffee and Oatmeal. Both lovely, but I just loved the Dark Arts!

Emelald was my favorite, and after tube and I left the Abbot ale house,we found stragglers staring at an electric guitar, claiming it was belong to Rory Gallagher,so it was chips all round at Lennox's chip shop to sober up.
