Yes there was a big difference in price between Friday and Saturday. We opted for Isaacs in the end, costing €32.50 each for the night and ~10 mins walk from the Well[/quote:3c2cgpl0]
Cool!

I booked the Maldron for €79. It was cheaper on lastminute.com

Lucky sod! At the very least go to Speakeasy. Otherwise you know where to look for my report on the many breweries and brewpubs I visited.

You can start here[/url:1ckp8jth] and work your way forward from there if you did not read them first time around.[/quote:1ckp8jth]

Thanks for that i will have a good read over the blog posting, Speakeasy has been added to the Google map!

I do have to give a presentation though <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Courage in liquid form.

I just realised that Isaacs hotel is almost as close as Maldron and more to the point is €58 for a double or twin room. Cheaper than Maldron. There is a €15 cancellation fee so if I was to cancel, it would bring the price to almost the same level once I factor in the Isaacs parking fee (free in Maldron if I get a spot).

Isaacs looks like a lovely hotel. Will keep them in mind for Easterfest.

I have stayed in both hotels (Maldron & Isaacs). Parking is almost non-existant at the Maldron but you could be lucky!. I had better nights sleep in the Maldron than Isaacs due to a lot of street noise. Don't suppose that sleeping would be a problem after a 5 hour stint at the Well though!
Overall Maldron is better (but dearer!)

I think it may not matter.

I stayed in Maldron before and got a spot. Fingers crossed.
