Mmmmm, delicious pairings - Geoff is to be congratulated

The overall favourite has to be the Dark Arts Porter & Cashel Blue. Fantastic flavour mix!!

my second third and fourth are equally shared between the other three:

Buckleys Golden Ale & Gubeen Semi soft Cheese ( Gubeen always a fav. of mine and the Golden Ale was delicious for a low ( 3.9% abv ) ale. Lots of hops and body - superb

Castle Red Irish Ale & Cooleney Soft Cheese ( Never been a red drinker but this openned my eyes to a Red IA the cheese was delicious )

O'Hara's Irish Stout & Hegarty's Cheddar ( O'H's stout - what more needs to be said and the dry mature cheddar was a win/win/1+1=3 sort of thing - again superb combination.

I believe Geoff is expecting the lads tomorrow afternoon - enjoy some serious flavour combinations

BTW: There are 3 different crackers on the plate.

BTW 2: Also picked a bottle of the Shandon Century Stout

BTW 3: SWMBO loved the B&C and wants to come to the next BEOIR meeting!!

Beer Heaven in Dublin at last

Cheers

Will

All those who had the beer & cheese agreed that too. Out of 40+ people, most loved the Dark Arts and Blue cheese combination. I took some home and a growler(1 ltr flip top) of Dark Arts after a long day. Perfect treat.
