An excellent evening as always. Actually, I'd be on for moving the meetings to Wednesday nights permanently- No competition/noise with the 'Weekend Starts Here' crowd and the €4 specials- halbes of Hooker and Metalman for €4!!! What's not to like???

I am sooo glad you suggested that -

I would be BIGTIME on for moving it to Wednesdays - and I am sure the Bull and Castle prefer us on a Wednesday in an quiet pub rather than hogging two tables on a busy Thursday night.

Funny to say this about a 2.4% beer, but JohnC's Volcano stout was the beer of the night for me - lots of flavor for being so sessionable.

Wednesdays could work for me, btw...

Really enjoyed the DCBrew kit ginger beer and Brian_C's punchy APA. And great to meet the new people.

I'd prefer to stick to Thursdays to keep it closer to the weekend. No-one's expected to be firing on all four cylinders on a Friday anyway <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->
