One thing for the new people, as it turned in to a bit of a mess. [b:1etksu7g]Please bring at least two, 500ml bottles of each beer[/b:1etksu7g]. One bottle is not enough, especially if we have two tables as we often do.
Then make sure to pass a bottle to the next table, tell them what it is and that way everyone is drinking the same thing and you will get better feedback.
Oh and try and label, yes I am guilty of not labelling very well as I bottle from the keg that morning but I usually have some sort of label.
It was a brilliant night. I loved Dempsey's blonde, label aside I thought it was a very smooth and rich blonde ale.
Jacob's Sierra Nevada clone was brilliant and at the American end of the table we decided it was better than the original so well done. Unfortunately I only got a dribble of the stout but it tasted pretty damn good too.
Top marks to Rossa not only for bringing in a growler but for filling it with two litres of a hobgoblin clone that was again, better than the original. I also loved his oak aged imperial stout and reckon if he can keep a bottle for a year that he should bring it and we can see what it is like after a little more ageing. That growler nearly got eh... taken for recycling a few times <!-- s:twisted: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_twisted.gif" alt="
