ONly got to talk to David at Semptemberfest last year and he was busy as hell then. He told me that he also buys in some Dabinett cider apples from a guy in Kilkenny. These are a top class cider apple variety. If you can organise getting some Dabinett juice while there it'll make a substantial differnce to you results.

Definitely interested - my cheap Lidl cloudy cider turned out quite palatable so I'd definitely be interested in learning more about real cider.

yes! I am also on for this, it's just up the road from me. would love to taste some of his wine also! I read about it in a newspaper article where the journo went to visit the farm. The train station isn't far from there, and I don't mind ferrying people to and from it in the car if needs be.

I was speaking to David about this last Sunday and he was quite taken aback (but in a good way) when I told him there was quite a bit of interest.

As long as you didn't use the phrase "like a swarm of locusts", apt and all as it probably is.

How did I miss this thread for so long? I'd LOVE to do this!
