Is this kept deliberately low-key to avoid crowd problems ? I can't find much detail anywhere, no mention on their website either. I'm planning on attending one of the days and it would be nice to have some confirmed details.

Most Definitely not. This event is held every Easter week-end for last ten years and most people in the area who would want to know about it know at this stage. Also local billboard posters over last few weeks.

The whole world does not revoive around the world wide web. As soon as I saw first poster re same put it up here and really cannot see what the problem is. I imagine some people would like to see the menu online in advance!!!! If you can come down and enjoy the festival and let the www at home!!!!!!

At least, as Ger says, they do postering well. As does the Porterhouse.

What's wrong with seeing a menu online first? Or advertising on the net? It's 2010 not 1980!

The Well has an outdated website on which they still advertise the fact you can buy 5l mini kegs of beer which is no longer the case.

I wish Irish breweries kept their web pages up to date. To say the world does not revolve around the world wide web is simply not true. Also Ironic considering how the comment was made <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> The web has been the largest driving force behind world affairs and media for a number of years.

I would imagine the wells excuse for not updating is simply because they have a full flash website and they are not easy to manage, expensive to get updated and impossible for an end user to make changes without a lot of flash knowledge so the cost of making small changes is prohibitive for them I would say.

A question about the easterfest. I went to the open day last year and saw that it was a great forum for talking about your own brews as well as tasting them. Will there be the same set up at this event as I would appreciate some feedback on my ale, stout and cider by some esteemed peers.

cheers
