Brewery Tour 2008/Field Trip 18 years 10 months ago #1

Last Summer I visted Cornwall in U.k, visted 2 Breweries, 1 Cider farm and 2 Vineyards.

What about ICB brewery tour , Les you might be able to help.

Just an idea, but I think with enough notice at least 6 months. We could go to some beer region, like Munich,Plzen,Yorkshire,Scotland,U.S, etc

Might be able to get group discount and escape from wives or girlfriends.

I'm biased here, but how about Belgium? Michael Jackson's Belgian Beer Guide mentions which breweries which do tours. Also, I read about a bar in Antwerp called something like De Kulminator. Apparently its beer menu resembles a smallish phonebook. I'm assuming that that is either a massive exageration or it includes lots of pictures and big writing. Even still though, sounds like a lot of beer. They stock 30 year old Chimay Blue. Sounds amazing. We could also vist Westvleteran. What do you say?

For Belgium you absolutely need a car. Hands up the designated driver.

Even if we were to stay somewhere like Antwerp?
