Was a good night, if I remember correctly. Some great beers all round, but the highlight for me was Biertourists DIPA. Hoppy Heaven....MMMMMMmmmmm......

I remember he was posting about that recipe recently. It had a huge amount of hops and the bitterness was well over 100 IBU. Did you all have a fruit pastille face on while drinking it ? <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Yeah I think he got a bit confused between 'grams' and 'minutes'. I loved it though.

Glad you liked it. It was the first beer that I've made that I've actually liked (and didn't ruin). Completely beyond satisifying.

Although that 2nd bottle did dissapear for a while; I'm sure Kenmc doesn't know anything about what happened to it during that time.... <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->

It was a good evening alright. I loved Biertourist's DIPA. Freedgull's mead was fantastic too, as was his dandelion and burdock ale, not as out-there and weird as what i thought it might be, but then again I have no idea what burdock tastes like at all. BigHair and Grainne's heftier weiss was also tasty.

Special mention must be made to silenus#2's mammy's irish cream liqueur. Stick up the recipe!!!!
