No because for all I know Paulaner could own 20 different breweries.

They own a truck load of breweries, distribution networks and all sorts of bits and pieces around the beer world. Hacker-Pschorr is part of the group and Heineken have a stake too.

T'was indeed ,they had wine as well
(in Munich oktoberfest the wine tents are seperate, but in smaller towns with only one festzelt you can get wine and spirits as well)
which the other half tried -seemed nice she said .
I noticed it was a hefe-dunkel ,I prefer the clear ones me self like king Ludwig or the house ones in the HBH ,Augustiner ,Paulaner etc ,You can get some lovely one in bottles as well all over Bavaria and Northern Austria

Only job to get hammered at those things is the Gluehwein rum schuss, that stuff rocks, but you have to be careful as it will kick your ass.

a german friend of mine who is a real mountain man says the Gluehwein is for the ladies and the men drink Jagertee.
