yeah they're also pretty scathing about westvleteren, they don't say it's bad, they say that the mythical status accorded to them by "a popular american website" is only partially deserved, but that they have "fallen victim to a cult of gooey idolatry that [they do] not deserve, in either the positive or negative sense". poor monks. they just want to brew, man.

I thought they were nice[/url:30ou46d0], but not the best/most memorable beers I've ever had.

I had Westvleteren 8 recently which is the only one of theirs I've tried. I liked it (as Belgian beers go, Dubbels are probably my favourites anyway).

Karmeliet Triple on druaght - sounds great - I might even pop up especially for that!!!!

Well and the cask beer in the B&C!!!!!
