Since moving to the land of the ridiculous Reinheitsgebot, I've been checking in less often, so only seeing this thread now. In order to indulge in my now annual 'bitter orgy', I had planned to attend the GBBF on Saturday (a friend of mine is flying down from Stockholm and can only do weekends).

As it turns out, I will be in the UK all week and would love to join on Tuesday, if it is at all possible to arrange to collect a ticket (e.g. at the door?) - or do they have to be sent from CAMRA directly beforehand?

(BeerNut, I've already made a Google Map[/url:3byq38vp] from your microbrew trip in 2007, to keep me busy some other day.)

If I can swing this, the first 1/3 pint is on me...

The ICB allocation is all gone, I'm afraid. You could try wheedling one out of them through this[/url:1pe6vw1n] contact page. Just tell 'em you're with ICB (even just "I'm really interested in beer" will probably do) and give them your address.

Alternatively, the spirit of Trade Day lives on past 5pm, so you can always come in with the paying customers then.
