I was going to go to this as flights are (or were last week) stupidly cheap (€20 Ryanair, €54 Aer Lingus, incl taxes etc) and it's also a good excuse to vist my mates in Brussels, but it's also a good week for the boyfriend to visit, and it's too pricey for him to get to from London (Eurostar is about £80). So I'll have to wait for the next one <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s:( -->

Actually, if one could go Friday night and come back at 6:50am on Monday (though not sure how you'd get to Charleroi at that hour) flights are currently €15 with Ryanair, incl taxes (but not baggage of credit card fee). Aer Lingus is stil €55, and that's direc to Brussels International.

The getting back is a bitch, now that I look at it. If only Aer Lingus flew back on Saturday evenings.

Aer Lingus is the better value there imo. Charleroi is about 60 km away from Brussels, so the extra money spent with Aer Lingus would save the expense and trouble of getting to and from Charleroi.

Why is the getting back a bitch? Would you not just take the Sunday in Brussels too and get the 21:15 flight back, or whenever it is? Seems to make perfect sense to me.
