I've just noticed that this event[/url:wa82kkc0] is free and open to the great non-corporate unwashed as well. The latest in Heineken International's Identikit Oktoberfest Programme[/url:wa82kkc0].

Might take a wander over some evening next week.

It's easy (and fun) to be cynical, but the food set-up looks impressive:

[quote:1gewx5bm]- Arno Teegen - Black Forest specialties sausages & various meats
- German Imbiss - Sauerkraut, Nockerln with Ham
- Andreas Gnegel/Burgunder Schinken (German smoked ham) & Crepes
- Stricker Food Systems - Mushrooms, dumplings, German rissoles and fried potatoes
- Astrid Rípp - Potatoe pancakes
- Georg Fürmeier / Munich Viktualienmarkt – German Mustards & Sauces
- Käsealm - German Mountain Cheese[/quote:1gewx5bm]

A hip flask of Schlenkerla might be in order.
