OK, people attending Hilden on Saturday as part of the ICB group will be entitled to free beer vouchers on arrival. Since there's free barbecue until 4pm, you'll basically get your £10 admission price back in beer and food, as long as you're there on time.

To avail of this offer, your name will need to be on the list at the gate. Please can you PM me your full name as soon as possible so I can send it on.

Well that was fun, despite the weather. I think last year's list was better, but this year the Irish selection had improved (despite the lack of Hooker). All the Hilden/College Green beers were on, including Halt, which I'd not had before, plus an amazing spicy wheat beer they've done called Barney's Brew (give yourself a kick if you missed that one, Blacckhawk). Whitewater had Belfast Ale and Clotworthy, and there was a cask porter from Messrs, as well as the Bock, also on cask. From Carlow there was Curim from the keg, but the O'Hara's Stout was cask, and really good too.

There were a few sadly mainstream English beers, namely Greene King IPA, London Pride and Chiswick Bitter, but also two each from Titanic, Ossett, Abbeydale and Castle Rock, plus Everard's Tiger (meh) and Crouch Vale Brewer's Gold (woo-hoo!).

Great crowd, good music, and a very busy face painter doing too many Jokers for grown men who should know better.
