Thanks all round I reckon for a memorable evening. The standard of the various beers was truly excellent and makes me want to go into overdrive brew-wise to replicate some of what was sampled. Loved the chilli stout, so subtle in the mouth but what an aftertaste! Thanks too to Thom for your comments on our Simcoe pale ale, am just waiting for a bit more maturity in it before demolishing the pile of bottles!

What a crackin night!!! As a first timer to an event I was amazed at the the number of likeminded people who have a passion and enthusiam for quality beer.

The quality and range of beers (& conversation)was outstanding two in particular stick with me an Imperial Stout by Joeby I think...and the chilli stout........!!

Thanks go to all the guys that organised this, along with our host Geoff. I'll definitely be at the next one.

I'd like to say a big thanks to the Bull and Castle for hosting the event. I thought the format worked well and the tasting was very civilised. Although I did note the odd strange look from other customers in the bar at the amount of beer that was on the tables and our apparent brazen disregard for the bar staff as we walked confidently into the fridge in full view and walked back out again with a arm full of bottles.

The highlight beers for me were Sinead’s Wit and the Simcoe Pale Ale from Graeme23 and Beer Mad. Well done to everyone!
