Sponsorship and free home brew maybe be a bit of gray area with revenue, it might be best to avoid trouble for those to donate the corny/beer with out any remuneration of sorts?

I would be most happy to help -- Donate beer and carpentry skills should a bit of stand building be required (subject to the usual terms and conditions)

I'd be happy to do my bit with the manning the stand, and chipping in a pressure barrel or two.

The revenue thing is a minefield, but the comments already given suggest to me that a legal way round the issue will be found.

I'd be interested in helping out too.

As for the sponsorship thing, it would be preferable to stay independent and perhaps have a list of all home brew suppliers on display.

No offence to the guys, but it would make the stall more independent and therefore credible and might keep 'The Man' happy.


Of course this is on the assumption that we would be able to afford to run a stall independently.

I think we could put a very good case to the organisers that we should be given a little bit of space free of charge.

ICB is an informal non profit making group with a website that is promoting home brewing but also [b:3kzxcrae]the enjoyment of non-mainstream beer.[/b:3kzxcrae] This is also the aim of the organisers although they are obviously doing it for profit. However more people intersted in diferent beer = more at theit festivals

Our presence would also be good pr for them as we are interested in sensible drinking and very much against binge drinking
