Didn't even get as far as adding it to the calendar, but the successor to the St. Patrick's Beer Festival at the RDS, The Secret Session, has been cancelled[/url:1w9dxzjq].

Strange, would have assumed they'd get the licence given that they've been organising an event there the past few years.

Isn't the licence transfer from a local holder for the event?
But yea odd a 3+ year event suddenly has licensing issues.

I'm guessing it's about money. The licence-issuing pub has apparently never been the easiest to deal with. On the other hand, it could just be whatever court issues the extensions being a bollox.
