Hi John,

Thanks for the post, here are the full details:

Quartiere in Fermento 2016, A festival of fermentations.

The Italian Quarter, Bloom's Lane, Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1
Saturday 19th November - 2pm - 10pm

Saturday 19th November, starting at 2pm, Wallace Winebars are hosting a mini Craft Beer, Cider and Wine festival in Dublin's Italian Quarter. The festival will showcase some of Italy's best independent craft beer producers, from Estonia, one of Europe's most exciting cider makers, and wine from Piemonte.

The festival gives you the opportunity to meet some of Italy's finest, award-winning, craft beer producers; Birrificio Montegioco, Birrificio Barley & Loverbeer. Jaanihanso, from Estonia, are making a range of world class ciders in the Champagne method, as well as Simcoe dry hopped, and sherry cask ciders. Claudio Mariotto from Piemonte, makes sophisticated products with simple grapes indigenous to his area, and is one of the four producers that grouped together to save from near extinction the beautiful white Timorasso grape particular to the hills of Tortona.

There has been a last minute addition to the line up - Declan Nixon will be there presenting two of his Otterbank barrel aged creations on tap.

Each of the Italian brewers at the festival have won the Birrificio dell'Anno award - the most prestigious beer award in Italy at the moment - focusing on brewers who are contributing to the forging of an authentically "Italian" brewing culture, using local ingredients such as grapes, herbs, spices, and fermentation and aging methods that meld northern European approaches with that of their indigenous wine culture.

Loverbeer and Montegioco will have 4 taps each, Barley will be presenting 6 beers in bottles, Jaanihanso will present 5 ciders in bottles, and Mariotto will be presenting a sweet wine, 2 whites, and three reds. Otterbank will have two taps.

To accompany the fermentations there will be Street Food prepared by Wallace Winebars, and entertainment by DJ Redmonk who will be knocking out some tasty tunes.

Pricing:
€10 entry fee - includes one drink and a lovely TEKU beer tasting glass to take home.
Drinks will range in price from €3 to €4 per 25cl glass.
