After the success of last year’s first homebrew conference, aimed solely at all levels of brewers in Ireland,[b:1a2g8y51] BrewCon 2016[/b:1a2g8y51] is back and will be held on [b:1a2g8y51]Saturday, 23rd April[/b:1a2g8y51] in Dublin, at the historic [b:1a2g8y51]Smock Alley Theatre[/b:1a2g8y51].

One of the premier aims of the[b:1a2g8y51] National Homebrew Club [/b:1a2g8y51]is education of our brewers, with this is in mind the conference is aimed at furthering their education by putting together a day of talks and discussions in a friendly and informative atmosphere.
This year, [b:1a2g8y51]BrewCon 2016[/b:1a2g8y51]'s keynote speaker will be [b:1a2g8y51]Gordon Strong[/b:1a2g8y51], [i:1a2g8y51]President of the BJCP[/i:1a2g8y51].
[b:1a2g8y51]Gordon Strong[/b:1a2g8y51] is an award-winning homebrewer, beer judge and author. He is the author of [i:1a2g8y51]Brewing Better Beer: Master Lessons for Advanced Homebrewers[/i:1a2g8y51], and [i:1a2g8y51]Modern Homebrew Recipes[/i:1a2g8y51]. He is the only three-time winner of the coveted [i:1a2g8y51]Ninkasi Award[/i:1a2g8y51].
