This year, we are looking for you to brew the best [b:1c16eq5r]American Ale [/b:1c16eq5r]style beer you can.

Based on [b:1c16eq5r]BJCP Cat 10 - American Ale[/url:1c16eq5r][/b:1c16eq5r], we want you to brew your best [b:1c16eq5r]Pale, Amber [/b:1c16eq5r]or[b:1c16eq5r] Brown Ale.[/b:1c16eq5r]

The [b:1c16eq5r]closing date[/b:1c16eq5r] for entries is [b:1c16eq5r]9th May[/b:1c16eq5r].

The [b:1c16eq5r]competition[/b:1c16eq5r] will be held on [b:1c16eq5r]Sat 23rd May[/b:1c16eq5r].

[b:1c16eq5r]Location[/b:1c16eq5r]: Wicklow Wolf Brewery, first competition to be held in the middle of a working brewery.

There are prizes for each category, with a grand prize for Best of Show.

Cost [b:1c16eq5r]€5[/b:1c16eq5r] per entry.

Open to full members of NHC or Beoir.

Just trying to get nationals out of way and full detail to follow.
Reason we are flagging, it may suit a 'young' beer from the Nationals.
Should be unusual and a bit of fun.

On completion, two emails are then sent back to you, a confirmation email & one with prefilled labels.
These need to be printed out and stuck to each bottle (2 x 500ml brown bottles per category entered.
There is a maximum of 1 entry per subcategory per brewer, i.e. 6 bottles (2 bottles for Pale, 2 bottles for Amber, 2 bottles for Brown).

Prizes:
• 1st Prize €100 restaurant voucher for anywhere in Ireland
• 2nd Prize €50 voucher with The Homebrew Company
• 3rd Prize 25kg bag of Weyermans Pilsner Grain
• Max 60 beers, (Limit: 1 beer per person per category).
• Cost €5 per beer category entry.
• Open only to full members of NHC & Beoir.
• The competition will be held on Sat 23rd May.
