This is gonna be a really dumb question — I don't go to pubs very often — but do people usually get half pints at these things? Is that allowed? Would prices be half of what's listed on the board? I imagine that getting full pints will put you out of commission pretty quick if you want to try more than a couple beers!

Also, any thoughts on what's going to disappear by tomorrow? I'm new to the craft beer scene here, so I don't have full knowledge of what's super popular yet!

yes halves, thirds if available. Don't know what pricing structure is for fran well, but most pubs in ireland seem to have a mark-up for halves unlike the UK where usually a half is half the price of a pint...anoying!

I pretty much always get halves, and at the Easter festival anyway they cost half the pint price. I can see the Black's stuff and Beoir#2 going pretty rapidly.
