I'd definitely recommend this to anyone interested in spirits, specifically whiskey.

They had a night for bartenders a while back and it was really interesting and the poitín was really nice. Plus the owner of 5 Lamps will be there if you want to quiz him on his brewery.

The first recent legit Poitín maker was granted a license by revenue with a proviso that it could ONLY be sold here in duty shops at the the airports

Qn 1: Is this correct?

Qn 2: As there are a number of Poitíns on the market that are not sold at the DFs has something changed?
