Dublin beer trip 16 years 6 months ago #1

What is the best value beer trip around Dublin? Say the most expensive pint of lager in Dublin cost 6.20. If you can name the place and price of the actual most expensive pint please do.

For 12.40 and a bike card what could you get instead?
Bock MM 4.00
Murray's Lager 3.30
Cask in B&C :4.70?

Comes out at less. What stops would you have on the beer trip? Pub must be within 100 meters of a bike stand. Aldi's Bottle of Irish red for 1.50 can be included

Include the Gingerman on Fenian Street where Franciscan Well beers are 3.50 a pint or 11 for a 4 (ish) pint pitcher...not sure where nearest bike stop is though!

That is a great idea. There is a stop not too far away as well. Map here[/url:2qcknda1]

how many of those can you fit in the little basket on the front? Can you cycle those yokes one handed?

They come in four packs so if you had a group of four that's one in each basket. That and the red in the Gingerman would cost you 2.75 a pintish.

6.70 pint of bud in Fitzsimons. There are a few reports of pints in the 6.50-6.70 range on boards here[/url:3p0o38b1].

So two pints is 13.40. If there are four of you then.
Pint of Gingerman's red 2.75
Pint of Boch in MM for 4 euro.
Murray's Lager 3.30, they do this in larger glasses for a group as well. I will check the price.
Glass of cask in B&C with the 3.35 you have left?

The bull and castle have specials on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.O Hara's stout, hooker and Rebel lager for €4. I think offers on only some of the time might be against the spirit of the trip though.
