Anyone in Limerick, The Blind Pig tapped their first cask last night. Purgatory pale Ale. Best of luck to Nial and the crew with this endeavour. Anyone travelling through Limerick on the way back from the homebrew expo could do worse than stopping in for a pint.

€4.50 for a pint of fresh ale is not bar value. The cask ale was proving popular with half the cask sold on Friday.

They stock Shandon Stout and Rebel Red on keg and also Sabotage and Ór, mixed range of bottles, the pick of which for me is Proper Job.
