Heading to Barcelona on Wednesday for Primavera, think my chances of getting anything decent to drink at the festival will be quite limited, so hoping to get some decent beers somewhere beforehand.

Think the info on here previously is quite dated, have found a couple of bars

Just wondering if anyone's been more recently and could recommend any of the above or any other bars there? Particularly interested in spanish craft beers rather than stuff I could drink here.

Oh for there to be a Beoir app for Barca!

Was there in October.

Ale & Hop[/url:25mq79qz] is a little hipster bar that's totally on top of the Catalan craft scene, and has loads of Italian and US beers, too. Nice nibbles, too, but not the easiest place to find.

This[/url:25mq79qz] is a good bottle shop with most Catalan craft and some rare US beers like Cigar City and Hoppin' Frog. You can do tasters in-store, too.

George & Dragon[/url:25mq79qz] has a misleadingly English pub name but is run by a guy from Pennsylvania; good local beers and lots of Rogue. It's just off Passeig de Gràcia near one of the big Gaudi buildings.

Good luck!

Great stuff, thanks for that. Ale & Hop is actually quite close to where I'm staying, nice one.

Absolutely loved Ale & Hop, thanks for the heads up on it, really nice people and lovely beers and food. Only regret is we didn't get to spend more time there!

Really liked the Cerversera Artesana too, it was a little quiet when we were there (Wednesday night) but their own beers were very nice and it was a nice spot (important for the non-beer drinkers).
